Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing and Parisian jewelry designer Aurélie Bidermann have collaborated to design a suede handbag accessorized with an ivory talisman. “I love making clothes, but bag – you have to be a woman to understand it. A bag is kind of a secret.” says Olivier Rousteing, the designer of Balmain.
Now Olivier Rousteing, creative director of Balmain, has designed the first bag from the fashion house in collaboration with creator of en vogue jewelry Aurélie Bidermann. The collector’s edition is called Pierre, in homage to Balmain’s founder, and pairs suede with a delicate charm made of boar tusk ivory – an elegant, discreet nod to the world of Aurélie Bidermann. This bag will take you from day to night and season to season, making it an instant classic.
